Building profile for a truly global music brand.
As the second largest independent music streamer globally, Deezer was well known in the Francophone world. But, like many of the artists on its platform know, to truly make it, the brand needed to “break” the UK and the US. That’s where we came in.
To break the UK and US markets, we took a full service approach centred on two key elements: a fast-paced newsroom and via campaigns. This meant we were able to keep a regular drumbeat of awareness while ensuring Deezer took share of voice on some of the biggest stories and issues — across consumer and B2B media.
In 18 months, we secured over 210 articles in top-tier consumer and business media, including Digital Music News, Billboard, Bloomberg, and Digital Trends alongside key consumer music media and blogs such as The Line of Best Fit, NME, and MusicRadar. Crucially, we also dramatically increased Deezer’s share of voice in the UK and US on key topics, promoting them from #4 to #2 during key moments in time.
