Senior Account Executive
What you’ll bring
As we continue growing our wonderful team, we’re on the lookout for a PR professional with previous experience in the field to join us as an SAE.
Acting as a ‘bridge’ between Account Executives and Account Managers, you are a dedicated and capable liaison as well as a problem solver with a great handle on media and communication skills. You have a desire to nurture your talents, hone your skills further, and grow into your career.
Your interpersonal abilities will be one of your top strengths, as you’ll work alongside senior members of the team to further build client relationships, as well as to maintain media and influencer connections.
Fair warning – you’ll also be playing DJ in the office every now and then as we each take turns entertaining the team with the music we love most!
What we need you to do
- Work as an effective team member, both on accounts and in the organisation as a whole
- Support day-to-day client service, reporting on the team’s work and outcomes for global companies
- Draft various types of compelling and persuasive content for external audiences (e.g. press releases, blog posts, thought leadership pieces) with minimum input from senior members of the team
- Act as a true ‘master of media’ – from building long standing relations with journalists, to crafting persuasive pitches and creating and maintaining press lists
- Think creatively!
What we would like you to have
- Previously held the position of AE/SAE with two-three years experience of working in a PR/comms environment, agency-side and/or in-house#
- A true passion for consumer technology / B2B and a genuine interest in the industry. You could specialise in gadgets, gaming, healthtech, crypto, music etc. What’s your jam?
- Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
- A skilled grasp of media relations and a growing list of contacts you know and love as well as a know-how of media landscapes
- A healthy appetite for news consumption and a strong ability to do research and disseminate information
Account Executive
What you’ll bring
Looking to build a career in tech PR, but you’re still fresh in the field and need some proper guidance and professional nurturing? We’re looking for… you. (And we’ll look out for you, too!)
Your role is essential in supporting the team to keep the trains running on time, so we’ll need someone who’s proactive, organised and enthusiastic, with a great attention to detail and a good sense of humour. This role is perfect for the person wanting to learn on the job, explore the creative side of PR and be part of a great team.
At Gallium, you’ll be refining your existing media and communication skills, using all PR tools available to drive press coverage for various clients in our portfolio.
What we need you to do
- Work with different brands, both big and small, adapting to the needs of each client
- Draft copy for different purposes, audiences, platforms (e.g. bylines, social media posts)
- Build and maintain media relations with key press for the accounts you’re working on
- Own the press outreach process including pitching angle ideas, drafting press releases, securing media interest and seeing it through until it’s converted into coverage
- Conduct media monitoring and reporting, supporting the team with evaluating and optimising campaigns, projects etc. based on the results obtained
What we would like you to have
- A basic understanding of how media works (don’t worry, we’ll teach you all the ins and outs!)
- A genuine interest to learn and grow
- A passion for reading and staying on top of the latest tech news and trends
- Strong writing skills coupled with an openness to learn how to write different types of content in different tones of voice, for a variety of internal and external audiences

PR Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

What you’ll bring
We are looking for an amazing person with PR agency experience to step into an AM/SAM role and hit the ground running in an award winning (and brilliant) team.
The ideal candidate will be adept at all the usual AM/SAM responsibilities — being the main day-to-day contact across their clients, ensuring effective execution of work, managing delivery and timelines, and bringing an exceptional quality to everything we produce for clients.
Beyond the day-to-day, you will have creativity running through your veins and will lead on developing ideas that cut-through the noise. You will know your journalists, inside and out. You’ll be a dab hand at mentoring junior staff, and have a keen attention to detail. You will lead by example to empower all team members to succeed and have expert-level GIF skills, because we use them too much and aren’t willing to change.
What we need you to do:
- Lead day-to-day communication with primary client contacts to coordinate and report on all work
- Use your in-depth knowledge of the client’s business and the sector in which they operate, and apply this to the work we produce to create seriously good results
- Deliver a consistently excellent service and high-quality outputs for our clients — and be responsible for that quality
- Confident in delivering excellent copy; whether it’s a data-driven press release, a scene-stealing op-ed, or a product deep-dive
- Harness existing journalist relationships — and develop new ones! — to secure media opportunities that delight our clients
- Manage client budgets and plan/monitor the team’s hours
- Manage junior team members’ client workloads and mentor them to develop super-sharp PR skills
- Identify opportunities for organic account growth
- Support new business pitches
What we would like you to have:
- A minimum of four years experience within agency or as an in-house communications manager
- Experience in consumer technology, B2B (would be great) and/or fintech and crypto preferred
- Can adapt to multiple tones of voice — from irreverent to serious; consumer to corporate
- Experience in managing/mentoring, direct reporting and cross-functional team working
- A passion for consumer and B2B work, as well as interest in working in some of our core verticals: Web3/crypto/fintech, music, and deep tech

Marketing Account Manager
Do you live and breath marketing? We are looking for a brilliant person with prior marketing agency experience slide into the Gallium Ventures team as an Account Manager. With a full bucket of experience the ideal candidate will be able to assess the needs of campaigns and give guidance to clients as to the best approach and strategy.
This person will thrive in a creative space, be a marketing authority figure in the team and has a knack mentoring junior staff. Attention to detail is a priority as is working in a fast-paced environment and sticking to deadlines.
As a Marketing Account Manager:
- Proactive leadership with a positive attitude
- Running the day-to-day management of client accounts including their marketing and advertising campaigns at a senior level
- Experience pitching marketing campaigns along with the strategy to back them up
