Showcasing the power of PR in brand building

With 33 million tutors in 56 countries, Superprof is one of the largest and most comprehensive online learning platforms in the world, helping millions of people find the perfect tutor in every field. But the brand suffered from a lack of awareness, particularly in key, high-growth markets like the UK. Our brief was to rectify that by building the brand and connecting with audiences. 

To meet this, we designed a PR program with creative storytelling at its core. Harnessing Superprof’s data, we hijacked major news and social, cultural, political and educational trends to put the brand at the forefront of conversations, while effectively communicating key messages. 

Our approach saw the brand featured in diverse publications ranging from Reuters, Yahoo! News, MailOnline and The Irish Independent to Techround, EdTech Innovation, and MediaCat. Crucially, we took the brand from a near zero percent market share of voice, to taking 45% of the market in less than 12 months — firmly establishing the brand as a key player, and encouraging greater adoption from tutors and learners alike.
